October 8, 2019: Notice of Meeting -Schedule D - PHL Band Development Vote November 8

NOTICE OF MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that a meeting of the Eligible Members of the Key first Nation will be held on November 8th, 2019 at commencing at 10 AM at The Key First Nation Saulteaux-plex for the purpose of informing the Eligible Members of the intent of the Chief and Council of The Key First Nation to make a request for a distribution from the Band Account for Band Development purposes. In accordance with the Key First Nation Pelly Haylands Trust Agreement; distributions may only be made from the Band Account for Band Development purposes if approved by a vote of the Eligible Members held in accordance with the requirements of the Trust Agreement. The Band Development purpose for which the Council is requesting a distribution are as follows: 2019 Band Development Request Projects:

1) 2019 TKFN Christmas Food Hampers Project S 602,000.

        1380 members @ 375.00 = 517,500.

          Dinners —31,000 & Distribution - 53,500

2) 2019 TKFN Wakes & funerals Fund 35,000.

3) 2019 TKFN Emergency Medical Needs fund 40,000.

4) 2019 pay down loan on Yorkton Land. 75, 000.

5) 2019 Gravel Roads 25, 000.

The total amount the Chief and Council is requesting to be distributed equals $777,000.

A Vote Will Be Taken at The Meeting to Approve or Disapprove the Intended Requests.

A consultation meeting with Membership will be held on September 19, 2019 at 10 AM at the Saulteauxplex on The Key First Nation to receive suggestions from the Membership on consideration, selection and adoption of a process for enacting and drafting a constitution and receiving suggestions regarding the content of a Constitution.
